The Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom!  Well most of them for that matter.  While most are busy enjoying the beautiful whites and pinks of the new blossoms, almost no one sees the beauty in the buds who have not yet bloomed--they are left unseen.

The Blossoms in Full Bloom, the Buds Unseen!

Post #28 (The Birds are Back!), 3-29-11

I loved photographing the ducks landing on the lake!  I wish I had my aperture lower and my shutter speed higher, but I was shooting in the moment and did not have time to change it.

I took this picture with my phone on my Habitat trip.  I like the way the sunlight captures a rainbow in it.  In this image, the light adds to the picture.

This is an image shows using light to produce shadows to make the image.

Friday was our last day one site.  These are pictures of the house we helped to build!

The front side of the house!
This is the main living area of the house.  We used it as our working station.
The hallway of the house.... we put up and painted all the trimming
around the doors and the baseboards around the floor.
We also cemented the floor of the shower.
Outside of each of the Habitat Houses, they poor cement blocks so those
who helped with the house can carve their names into the blocks.... here is my name!

After work on Thursday, we drove up to the Colorado-New Mexico boarder!  We continued our drive into Colorado and hiked up a mountain to a Shrine.
